Is zhike fruit peel oil REACH-compliant for the EU market?
Natural essential oils enter the EU as complex substances under REACH; whether a registration/dossier obligation falls on the EU importer (or a Only Representative) depends on tonnage band and substance identity. As a non-EU producer G4S supports compliance rather than replaces it: we supply the full substance dossier (identity, GC composition, impurities), CLP-compliant SDS in EU languages, and any data needed for your SIEF/OR work.
Practical points for buyers: (1) citrus-peel distillates are commonly handled as UVCB substances — the CAS/EC identity used in your registration must match your supplier's declaration (see the CAS note in the specification: 68916-04-1 / 72968-50-4 catch-all entries); (2) SDS must reflect the classification of the specific distillate (flammability, skin/eye irritation, limonene/linalool sensitisation labelling); (3) downstream cosmetics use triggers (EC) 1223/2009 allergen declaration rather than REACH per se.
