It is a water-soluble fruit concentrate (not a fragrance oil), so it is dosed into aqueous/food systems by weight/volume. Formulators label it as a food extract (medicine-food dual-use) and note it is an aqueous concentrate, distinct from an essential oil.
Because it is a fruit concentrate with sugars, keep it in food (not cosmetic-perfume) use unless the cosmetic is a rinse-off food-derived product with proper claims.
