Is this osmanthus concrete food-grade, and is there a FEMA GRAS number?
Osmanthus is a traditional edible flower (used in Chinese cuisine, tea, pastries) and osmanthus absolute/concrete are traditional flavour bases. In China, food use is governed by GB 2760-2024 and local edible-flower management (osmanthus is outside the new-food-raw-material catalogue — verify the specific clause and any provincial rule).
In the US, FEMA 3750 is the osmanthus (absolute/concrete) flavour number (Top cites it as a same-line clue, per COA) and US food use follows 21 CFR 182.20 GRAS framework. Top supplies documented lots and the food-use citation; the buyer confirms the exact food category and market eligibility.
Because concrete contains flower wax and residual solvent risk, food use should specify the de-waxed absolute-grade or confirm solvent-residue compliance per the target market.
