Primary Applications
fine fragrance and personal care (the exquisite, indolic, precious "white floral" heart — perfumes, soaps, shampoos, body lotions, lip care, candles); food and beverage flavour (jasmine tea, dairy, confectionery — the natural jasmine note; label per GB 2760 / 21 CFR); jasmine tea scenting (the classic use — scenting green/white tea with the concrete/absolutes).
It is a waxy concrete, so it is melted and diluted (in carrier oil or ethanol) rather than used neat. Formulators label appropriately (food vs cosmetic) and note it is a solvent-extracted jasmine sambac concrete (flower wax + aroma), distinct from a distilled oil.
Because it is precious and low-yield, keep use levels moderate and within IFRA / flavour norms.
