How is this Citrus × limon oil extracted, and which method is preferred?

G4S uses Steam distillation for this grade. The peel is steam-distilled at low pressure, which gives a clean, soft profile without solvent contact and without the heavy residue of an expressed oil.

Why this route

• No solvent is used, so there is no solvent-residue carry-over to declare.
• Distillation keeps the profile soft and clean, which suits fine-fragrance work.
• The natural marker ratios of the peel are preserved rather than rebuilt from fractions.
