How is this oil used in fine perfumery?
In perfumery the oil is a precious heart-note ingredient: 1–5% adds depth and exotic white-flower character to floral, oriental and chypre compositions, while larger doses create a bold michelia signature.
Perfumery Usage
| Role | Application |
|---|---|
| Heart-note modifier | 1–3% in floral and oriental accords |
| Signature floral note | 3–5% for a distinct white-michelia statement |
| Chypre / woody accent | 1–5% paired with patchouli, vetiver, oakmoss |
| Functional perfumery | Candles, diffusers, air fresheners |
- Its sweet banana-ester top note gives an exotic, recognizable fingerprint
- Pairs beautifully with jasmine, neroli, ylang, sandalwood and citrus
- Use-level must respect IFRA limits and the per-batch allergen declaration (linalool)
Request a perfumery evaluation sample to assess the accord in your composition.
