How is the rose hydrosol produced?

Rose hydrosol is produced by steam distillation of fresh rose petals — the hydrosol is the co-product collected together with rose essential oil.

No solvents, alcohol, preservatives or re-dilution are used — the hydrosol is the pure saturated condensate of the petals' water-soluble compounds. Low-temperature cooling locks in the delicate rosy top notes.
