Which production standards does this peppermint oil comply with?
This peppermint oil is produced and released against the three reference standards for Mentha × piperita oil: GB 1886.278-2016 (China national food-safety standard for peppermint oil), ISO 856:2006 (International Standard, Types A and B) and the USP monographs for peppermint oil. Food use in China follows GB 2760-2024 entry N086, and international flavouring use is covered by FEMA GRAS 2848.

About ISO 856 Types A and B
- Type A: lower menthofuran and higher ester content — typical of US-style oils
- Type B: higher menthofuran — typical of European and some Chinese lots
- Both types are authentic M. × piperita; the COA states which type the lot matches
