What usage rate is recommended for orris absolute in finished products?
Orris absolute is exceptionally potent and expensive — always start low and build. Recommended starting levels (based on the finished product):
- Fine perfume / Eau de Parfum: 0.1–2% (of the fragrance compound); niche violet-powder statements up to 5%
- Skincare (creams, serums): 0.05–0.5% of the oil phase, pre-dissolved
- Solid perfume / balm: 0.5–2%
- Home fragrance (candles, diffusers): 0.05–1%, heat-tolerant blending required
