Soluble in ethanol (1:10 in 90% ethanol gives a clear to slightly hazy solution) and in fixed/carrier oils (jojoba, sweet almond, MCT); insoluble in water and glycerin. At low temperature a slight cloudiness or waxing may appear, which returns to a clear liquid after gentle warming (30–40°C water bath) — a natural property of sesquiterpene-rich oils, not a defect.
