Where does this michelia leaf oil come from — plant and origin?

This michelia leaf oil (TPS-RO-002) is steam-distilled from the fresh leaves of the White Michelia tree, Michelia alba DC. (family Magnoliaceae — the genus is also listed as Magnolia × alba in recent taxonomic revisions). It is a genuine Chinese floral specialty: white michelia trees are widely cultivated in Fujian, Guangdong and Guangxi, which are also the traditional producing regions for the oil.
