How is this lemongrass oil used in perfumery?

Lemongrass oil is a bright citral-accent used at low doses in natural and commercial perfumery. It lifts citrus top notes with a green-herbaceous twist and adds a clean, aldehydic freshness that supports colognes, fresh fougeres, herbals and oriental compositions. Because of its intensity, it is dosed as a modifier, typically 0.5-3% of a concentrate.
