This lemongrass oil (product code TPS-RO-007) is a genuine dual-species product: it is steam-distilled from the fresh or semi-dried grass blades of Cymbopogon citratus (DC.) Stapf — the West Indian lemongrass — and Cymbopogon flexuosus (Nees ex Steud.) W. Watson — the East Indian / Cochin lemongrass. Both species are listed together as Lemongrass oil (N090) in Annex B of GB 2760-2024 for food use.
