How is this lavender oil soluble in different carriers?

The oil is soluble in ethanol and fixed oils, and insoluble in water — a typical profile for steam-distilled lavender oil that dictates how you blend it.

Practical consequences for your production: use ethanol (perfume/alcohol bases) or a carrier oil (massage/skincare blends) directly; for sprays, gels or diffuser bases containing water, add a suitable solubilizer such as polysorbate before the oil. We can share dilution ratios we have validated in our own compounding trials.
