What is the shelf life of jasmine absolute, and how should I store it?

Shelf life is 36 months from production when stored correctly: sealed, in amber glass or aluminum, dark, dry, at 4–10°C.

Proper storage keeps the absolute's character stable: the heat- and light-sensitive molecules that give jasmine its depth degrade if exposed to prolonged heat or light. Cool, dark, sealed storage preserves both aroma and IFRA-relevant composition.
