How water-soluble is the hydrosol and how should it be used in formulations?

The hydrosol is miscible with water — it is an aqueous solution and blends freely into any water phase at any ratio.

Because it replaces the plain water in a formula, it adds the natural gardenia character and soothing properties without alcohol or solubilizers. For products with an oil phase, add the hydrosol at the water phase stage; for anhydrous or spray systems, confirm compatibility with the packaging and preservation system.
