How does gardenia oil compare with jasmine, tuberose and orange blossom oils?

All four are white-floral oils, but each has a distinct character: gardenia is the creamiest and most buttery, jasmine is the most indolic and complex, tuberose is the most narcotic and green, and orange blossom is the most delicate and orange-honeyed.

Orange blossomHoneyed, fresh, delicate, soapy-cleanLow, highElegant feminine florals
Gardenia sits between jasmine and tuberose: less indolic than jasmine, less narcotic than tuberose, but creamier than both. Its lactonic sweetness is the closest nature gets to a "butter-flower" scent.

Ask for a comparison sample kit (gardenia + jasmine + tuberose + orange blossom) to evaluate side by side on blotters.
