This oil is steam-distilled or supercritical CO2-extracted from the dried rhizomes of the Dao-di Chuanxiong (Ligusticum chuanxiong Hort.), the top herb in the classical "Four-Substance Decoction" and the most widely used TCM medicinal for invigorating blood and qi circulation.
